I think the cutoff for everything but Windows Phone was Jan 30th. If your device was set up for EAS by then, you can continue to use it. But if you get a new device, be it a replacement from a warranty swap or purchase an upgrade, then they can not do EAS.
I believe Google pushed the deadline for Windows Phone in to the summer because Microsoft needed to release an update that did CardDAV and CalDAV.
I've been slowly moving my email correspondence to Outlook.com in my efforts to 'de-googlefy'. I like it. It brings a lot cleaner interface, IMO. GMail used to own that but it has seen a lot of feature creep the past couple of years and the new interface on the web is just downright terribad, IMO.
Thanks, I signed up for an outlook.com account for that exact reason. Looks like I'll start using it...
