They're not worried about it because they know that the vetting process already in place for years would successfully prevent the criminals from getting in.

The fake news is the fearmongering that we have to close the border entirely in order to keep the criminals out.

Yeh, I'd expect to find criminals "along the caravan route". They probably passed a lot more than 270 on their way to Tijuana, 2500 miles from where they started. It's some extremely lame fear mongering from DHS. Buying into that is easy for people who already fell for Trump's bullshit, I'm sure.

"passed" is different than "part of". So fake news?

And I didn't see anywhere that the aforementioned 270 criminals are part of the caravan, did you? This is what it said:

"In fact, over 270 individuals along the caravan route have criminal histories, including known gang membership."

So, how does "along the route" get to mean within the caravan itself? You'd think that if they were known to be in the caravan and traveling with said caravan, DHS's statement would be a bit more declarative and state "270 known criminals are traveling with the caravan," not "along the route" of the caravan. And further, how do persons from Somalia, India, Haiti, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh get into the caravan as is being suggested? Fly to Central American to then decide to walk 2500 miles? Walked across the ocean to join it? Can't believe you fall for this bullshit......oh, wait.....yes I can.

No, of course this isn't our greatest threat, but allowing people in without vetting them is indeed a risk. You know each person in the caravan just wants a job, couldn't be any ulterior motives? We have enemies in the world. And I'm sure there would be a good deal of aid required. A welfare state with wide open borders is a recipe for disaster.
I don't think you've ever even interacted with a Hispanic person even once, I had to have my house re-roofed this summer, a crew of 3 Hispanics had it done in 2 days. These people do the hardest jobs that regular "American" workers do not want or refuse to do. In your little hate-filled world you're too stupid/ignorant to understand that.

No, but the linked DHS page you provided said that, and since you're trying to use the bullshit DHS claims as fact, you are also endorsing the above, too. Can't have it both ways cuck. So fuck yourself as you seem quite content to do. BTW....when you're fucking yourself, do you use flashlights, curtain rods, or any old thing you can jam up your tight ass?

I saw an interview with a border patrol agent that said there were at least 500 known criminals in the caravan.

I saw an interview with a member of the caravan that had been convicted of taking the tag off his mattress.

Kill these criminals! 1543672135615.gif

Why do you assume I'm talking about all Hispanic people? I'm talking about criminals in the ranks of the caravan and vetting those whom we allow to become citizens of this country and live here. You're dong the typical leftist thing today and trying to make this about me being an ignorant, evil white man and pretending I'm hating on a race of people, trying to manufacture racism where there is none. Stop that, it is dishonest.

I remember reading about how rare individuals from other parts of the world end up seeking entry at the Mexican border. I have no idea how they get there but they'd be easily distinguishable in an interview for asylum.

Way to ignore Vic's post. Guess when actual facts are presented, you'll continue to do the usual....ignore them when they're not convenient for your angst.

Can you show me where I claimed there were in fact criminals IN the caravan? Mo you cant. In fact, I questioned it. I know its difficult for people to change an opinion of someone else, but you and others are dead wrong on my thoughts on this. And you cant show otherwise,

So meh.

And as long as our vetting process remains in place, Im fine with it. Unlike how many here are trying to paint me as someone who thinks they are "invaders" (Ive never said said) or whatever, I support LEGAL immigration.

Your argument is that people should go back and defeat murderous cartels because your wife is active in the local county commissioner's office or whatever?

This must be a joke. You can't possibly be serious.
No, that was not said, you misunderstand how governments work. The people elect the politicians that will carry out their wishes best, the government employs and pays for police who then take down the cartels. If a citizen wants to and can pass the physical requirements, they may then join the police force, but the policing is not done by people that are not the police. When was the last time the police came to your house and asked you to lead a raid on a drug ring? lol

Well, he did just accuse someone who voted for a woman in the last Presidential election of believing that women can't achieve politically, so I'm going to say that his real malfunction is dishonesty.
Actually, I don't know or even care who voted for whom in the last election. Even if a person says they voted for 'x' there is no way of proving that since it is a private ballot.

I agree, legal immigration is the cornerstone of our society. It brings in the people that want to become Americans and cherish the American way of life. It brings in the most capable of adding to our economy and social system and keep out those that would break the laws and game the system for handouts and freebies even though they never paid into the system.

You do not understand how government works in the real world. This is impossibly naive.
