That was not the intentions of ANY of the Caravan. ALL of them intended to apply for asylum at the US border. And Trump has sent the military to make sure they cannot get to the border.

When reality conflicts with your ideology, demand unreasonable levels of proof. When said unreasonable levels of proof are not met, cling to your ideology no matter how much reasonable conflicting proof exists.

He's desperate to reduce discussion to quibbling. I think it's fair to say that the vast, vast majority of the caravan intends to apply for asylum. Every last one? probably not but it really doesn't matter. The fact that they're living in squalid camps on the Mexican side waiting for processing tells us that. Some will obviously grow impatient.
