Wow, looks Skylake-X looks pretty exciting, for those that swing Intel. Should give Ryzen a run for the money. Less cores, but faster + AVX-512 in some of the cores, if rumors hold out.
I'm a little undecided. I sold my i5-6400 (my highest-end CPU I've ever bought) rig to a friend the other day. So now I'm back to my two deskmini PCs with G4600 Pentium w/HT CPUs, and an ATX Z170 box with a G4560 and an RX 470 4GB for gaming purposes, although I wouldn't terribly mind selling that too, if I could get the $700 I want for it.
