That is NDA event
It will be presented to a wider audience, so someone might leak.

If not, take the opportunity and state whatever you may like here and say you got it from a leaker. Then Wtf*Tech will pick it up a few hours later and publish an article about it. After that we can refer to that article here on the forum and claim it as fact / source. Hey, we need something to get the discussion going. ;)

This is not from the tech event. I wouldn't even call it leak because this is from MLID and he is wrong in many many cases.

How do you know it’s not same/similar info as was presented at the tech event?
The burden of proof lies on you, we don't need to prove it's not from the tech event as there is no apparent connection between the two. Had you watched the video, you would know MLID presents the info as a compilation from multiple sources. He makes no claim of connection between the two. Moreover, the video was published days before the press attended the tech tour.

Just because some info is under NDA does not mean it cannot leak.
True, but at the same time, just because it can does not mean it has. How about we get the slides from the event instead? I would call THAT a leak.

Tech event happened later, this is not related to MLID. It should be obvious! Obviously we will get much more detailed infos from the tech event.

Exactly the most baffling stuff is someone like Daniel Nenni Wendel from Level1tech etc

Nobody needs to prove anything. I'm not saying this is definitely what's happened, all I'm saying is that it's possible.

The principle is very simple:
A has insider info. A shares info with B (thereby A breaks NDA, if A is under NDA). B posts info on twitter or wherever.

B could be e.g. MLID or whomever. And the info could be the same, similar, or part of the info that later will be presented at some tech event, or officially/publicly.

Someone ought to start a thread showing claims of prominent leakers like MLID, Mark Gurman, etc. and then they can update the info in the first post with how those predictions turned out.

It would reduce a lot of the arguing if we can point to real data that says "hey this guy you're relying on has only 36% accuracy according to forum stats, why should anyone believe what he says"

That's a lot of work on one person, the OP of the thread, to keep track and make updates to the first post lol

Something like this makes more sense to track in a live Google Doc spreadsheet that everyone can edit.

While the idea sounds decent, the unreliability of certain folks is public knowledge at this point. Never stopped anyone from posting them over and over again. In this very thread.
