My feeling is that the LPDDR4(X) support isn't there until an updated stepping which won't be available until like March.

Or, whenever Apple intends to release it's new Mac Pro laptops.

Core i3 10100 spotted. 4C8T with a 3.6 Ghz base. Can't tell turbo boost clocks, but the 9100 is 4.2, so maybe a tad more than that.

I had an i7 8700k and an i7 4790k. I tried BCLK OCing them both. The instability set in at low overclocks, and I decided that the gains from BCLK OCing were not worth the hassle. But OCing an i7 860 -- there was no alternative to BCLK OCing.

Intel seems tapped out on production, supply and demand is their friend, at least this year.

I think Intel would prefer that only the K parts were available on the retail market. But you do still have the whitebox vendors out there.
