My feeling is that the LPDDR4(X) support isn't there until an updated stepping which won't be available until like March.
Or, whenever Apple intends to release it's new Mac Pro laptops.

I hadn't seen this, a partial review of the 6 core 10710U. Note that the PL1 = 35W and PL2 = 51 W.

Core i3 10100 spotted. 4C8T with a 3.6 Ghz base. Can't tell turbo boost clocks, but the 9100 is 4.2, so maybe a tad more than that.
A Core CPU 4c/8t with a 3.6GHz base. Sort of reminds me of earlier-generation i7's.

Even the base Core i3 will be pretty good CPU.

Great for E-Sports gaming, cheap(109$), fast, power efficient. Good times ahead.

Wonder how high that i3-10100 will OC, if it has less cache/core than the 9900k, etc. Well obviously it's going to have less L3.

Are you using BCLK to OC 9900K? ;)

Or any unlocked CPU? ;)
I had an i7 8700k and an i7 4790k. I tried BCLK OCing them both. The instability set in at low overclocks, and I decided that the gains from BCLK OCing were not worth the hassle. But OCing an i7 860 -- there was no alternative to BCLK OCing.

For current generation, max Bclk on locked models is 102.9 MHz. 103 and above will refuse to boot.

Is 100 MHz overclock worth the hassle with Locked CPUs?

Oh yeah, forgot that bit. Bleh. Maybe Intel needs to start unlocking their CPUs to regain some market share . . .
Intel seems tapped out on production, supply and demand is their friend, at least this year.

I think Intel would prefer that only the K parts were available on the retail market. But you do still have the whitebox vendors out there.

I'm sure they would! They can't control the market the way they used to, though.
