Manafort does not have a plea agreement that we know of. He's playing it the same way as Scooter Libby so far. So long as Trump is Prez he'll probably never go to prison.

Ahh I was thinking of flynn.

I'm just curious. What is the Bluewave take on this?

Sen. Bob Casey Jr. (D-Pa.) on Sunday warned special counsel Robert Mueller against issuing a report on his findings in the ongoing investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 election near the upcoming 2018 midterm elections.

What's the take on that? The take is that the Democrats don't want Republicans crying about partisan influence related to the investigation during the election cycle. Republicans are using any shred of doubt or influence they can dig up to turn this into a mud flinging fest and try and discredit Mueller/Democrats. Right now Democrats are doing well enough in the special elections that they don't want to rock the boat. Mueller can keep quietly working and doing what he is doing and provide a report after the election cycle.

Yeah, he’s such a real estate expert, he buys it at the end of the boom, overpays, and now the rents don’t even cover the payments.

If you're directly working with a foreign entity to undermine American democracy, you deserve to be stripped of every single cent you own and tossed out on the street.

I bet the Obamas, Clintons, Lynches, Comeys, and others have nice stuff that we, the people, can reclaim after their run of unchecked corruption.

Good, when will the Republican controlled Congress, WH and Justice Department do something. I’m waiting.
Seriously when can I expect them to take action.

Really makes you wonder what's coming down the pipe doesn't it? These meltdowns usually precede something quite juicy.

Well another Republican standing member of the house intelligence committee is bailing as of yesterday - Tom Rooney is calling it quits. This is after Gowdy announced he as done a few weeks ago. There is something driving the rats from the ship.

The juicy part is only Obama and Clinton are implicated..............

By implicated you mean a lawyer that worked for them (and resigned from Obama's administration) and *THEN* went to work for the firm associated with this guy. Sure. That's implicated. This truly is a juicy nothingburger.

Pardons that is what will happen.

What happens after that is uncharted territory

I'm sure with all of this financial stuff there's a pile of state crimes that state AG's could be sitting on that *ISN'T* pardonable.

I think it's because Gowdy and others are seeing the "political hay" that is going to be made in prosecuting the corruption that was unintentionally uncovered by Mueller's investigation of Trump. Gowdy said something about wanting to go back to the legal system.

So there's some speculation about the "Person A" in this latest indictment. Manafort's daughter worked for Skaaden as well. Knowing how Mueller works...he may putting the squeeze on Paul's kid.

Will be interesting to see how this plays out. Mueller has a serious justice boner for Manafort.
