I feel Deja Vu but I feel like I told someone in this thread, perhaps even you, that this thread is not about impeachment, it's about indictments. And so far there have been plenty of indictments.

Slow just wants Michael Cohen's old job of lying & bullying for Trump. It pays better than being an Alt-right troll, I suspect.

Then there is the fact that if slow had actually been paying attention and reading the filing documents, he'd know that trump is an unindicted co-conspirator. I guess you can't blame him its alot to keep up with and hes slow. Hell I can't even remember which documents he was fingered as individual-1 an unidcited co-conspirator I believe it was Cohens sentencing documents.

Edit just re-reading and realizing the Presidents personal attorney/republican finance chair gets all theses charges related to Trump. Apparently that means nothing because slow just comes in here hu hu hu has trump been impeached yet? Unless it was reversed and the same thing happened with Hillary, I could only imagine how big of a deal this would be to slow then.

I guess Trump just cleared Sessions of his involvement in his conspiracy between the Trump Campaign and Russia. In response to an article about Sessions being investigated over Trump/Russia, Trump tweeted “ Sessions didn’t have a clue!”

A clue about what, you idiot? Are you saying Sessions wasn’t in on the plot? The plot that you’ve claimed didn’t exist?

one can inly hope that this level of trump stupidity leads to more revelations that mueller can use to pin him down.

I think Trump meant Sessions didn't have a clue that McCabe was investigating him. OTOH, if I'd lied to congress about Russian contacts in my confirmation hearing to become AG, I'd expect the FBI to investigate me. Stuff like that is their job, isn't it?

Manafort is before Judge Jackson as we speak for his second sentencing. Don't think he will get off as lightly as he did last week but I do think the people hoping for the max ten years and to be run consecutive will be disappointed.

My guess is 6-7 but concurrent.

Do you think he will get to keep the honeymoon suite with a private laptop and phone?

"Witness tampering warrants a separate, consecutive sentence"

Yeah I'm going to be so wrong I feel.

Nope I was right.

BREAKING: Paul Manafort has been sentenced to: - Count 1: 60 months, with 30 months concurrent with EDVA sentence - Count 2: 13 months, to run consecutive to count 1 and the EDVA sentence

Another 43 months.

Remember kids, if you're going to do crimes make sure to do rich white people crimes and have good lawyers.

This is such a bullshit sentence, some kid went to jail today for longer than Manafort for having an ounce of weed.

There could be several reasonable explanations for these light sentences:

1) Lighter sentences might make it harder to claim bias by the court...and thus more difficult for Trump to pardon? I dunno...Trump would likely still pardon anyway...

2) Manafort really is secretly cooperating in at least one case with a sealed indictment???

3) No precedent for anyone serving more time for a similar sentence??

Ok I lied...no good reasons for the judge to go light on him. I was expecting a total of 10-12 years between the 2 cases...not 7.5 (likely 5 or less with time served/good behavior).

I'm hearing 16 counts in the indictment for various real estate, tax, and fraud and conspiracy charges.

Up to 25 years if convicted on all counts.

Pardon insurance plus making it a near certainty Manafort dies in prison. I assume some crimes were done in VA also...
