Wow i have a few comminents for you boss man. First off I think alot of guys have been in your position. And the fact that she told you she doesnt like to be chased is BS. She prolly doesnt like to be stalked, but all girls like the game. And girls can go out on dates with 5, 6 guys if they want. One date is not "dating" I wouldnt push the subject with her... just next time you see her, make an effort go up to her. And ask her to go on a date. And not some BS dinner and a movie. Take her to something different. A special spot that you like to go. Show her more then Sexual interest. If it doesnt work forget about it... plenty of other girls. And its only going to get wierd afterwards if you let it get wierd. Balls in your court. Dont miss your shot.

I think the only way for you to win in this situation is to start dating some other girl and rouse her jealousy. I like dapunisher's analysis of the situation. If she liked you, she would have flirted with you outrageously. But what the heck do I know?

After her date this weekend ask her how it went. After she tells you tell her the reason you asked is because "from the moment I met her she had me spellbound" (your words dude), don't say "I'd like to get witch'a." And get her to give you a difinitive response, if she tries to avoid the definitive response (y or n) and you let her "think about it for a while" You'll probably get made out to be the weird guy thats stalking her. If she gets flakey about it tell her nevermind and go and get drunk. She might have some hot friends that she could hook you up with so keep it friendly and respect her boundaries, but find out where those boundaries are.
