Why don't you put her on your ignore list for IM? Right click her name, last option is block buddy. Problem solved.

I will tell you why you should not get revenge on her:
She is one major screwed up person. BIG TIME! Seems that she feels that she can do what (or whom) ever she wants, whenever she wants and then find a way to make it all someone else's fault. Uh-Huh! Right, then we reach maturity, no?
Reading that made one thing clear... she did wrong, wants to blame you and make you feel bad and she will not take responsibility for her actions. And this... I will "always" love you carp! What carp!! How much did she love you when she was doing other guys? Anyway.... why you shouldnt get revenge.....
If you do, it will feel pretty sweet for a VERY short amount of time and then you will have to live with sinking to her level for ages. Right now, you are heads and shoulder above her. You should stay there. With a girl like this.. you don't have to do anything, she will screw up everything for herself by herself and that is the sweetest revenge there is. And while that might not take away the hidden embarrassment of being played a fool right now... well, if you just leave her to her own devices, you will forever know that you are the better person and be proud of yourself that you have self respect and class. But don't let her guilt you, man. Don't let her pull your strings. It will bother her more if oyu just closed all channels. If you get revenge, it will justify in her mind, everything she did to you. Don't give her another second of air time in your mind. She wasted enough of your time and your life. She is bad and you are good, and oyu should not allow one tiny spec of her bad taint your good.
But you are 100% correct in that she needs to see someone and get some help.

I think she is just being typical for her age and the poster was teh one that saw too much into it and was PUSHING her into things. I believe the IM was just to rub it in, she is probably crackling gleefully about getting him tweeked.
