Whether or not you guys are a fan of the OP for you to childishly insult him and his fiance in this thread really reflects poorly on your character.
When someone volunteers personal information like this, if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all.
Shame on all of you, you know who you are.
Congrats freedomsbeat212, I hope everything works out for you both, sincerely!

either shens or you're dumber or more pathetic than i thought...
Not shens and not pathetic. I've dated a LOT and most of my YAGTs here were due to either insecurity on my side or because of frustrations caused by things not clicking with these random girls.
Here is a girl who's beautiful, smart (has her masters), career driven yet family oriented. She's perfect and she obviously loves me. I wouldn't have proposed to her if there wasn't a magical connection. I never believed in love at first sight until I met her but, even then, we gave it a year as friends before attempting to date. Now that we started dating, things fell together perfectly.
We're very different on the surface but, deep down, we have similar goals and a similar outlook. We also get each other in ways that transcend words, it's hard to explain but all of my friends get it. They were shocked by the speed of it all but all agree that she's perfect for me, and vice versa.

Dude. 1 month?
Let me tell you a story. I was friends with a girl for about 4 years. We didnt see each other for a year or so, then when I saw her again (at my sisters wedding), we hit it off. We started dating. For the first 2 months, it was the best relationship i've ever had (I was even contemplating proposing). After 6 months, it was over.
All relationships are good for the first month. Most are even good for the first few months. Knowing what I do now, I will never propose to a girl without having been in a serious ROMANTIC relationship with her for at least a year...

it doesn't matter how long he has known her
these things can work out no matter how long they've known each other, if they want it to
i proposed to my wife about 6 weeks after i met her and we got married 5 months later and i was away (in the Navy, out to sea) for 2.5 months of that
and we just passed 19 years of marriage
Sure, it can work out, and your example is proof of that. But let's face it, it's freedomsbeat we're talking about here.
