Come on guys..I think we have pulled his leg for quite some time in this thread.

I think benny is lucky and we should congratulate him on getting married. I dont know why you guys think that she married him for his money or for the fact that he is in the US. Did it even occur to you that you could be hurting his feelings by saying such things?

I hope she is truly in love with benny. To benny and his wife :beer::beer::beer:

From the guys I know who did this, that usually isn't a problem. The wife has a baby, becomes a hermit, and eventually becomes one of those crazy overbearing Asian mothers.

Very true. I know off 5 cases where they didn't get married in the States. 4 works out really well, i.e., they had kids and thing seems to work out A O.K. (6+ yrs).
BTW, with the 50% divorce rate in this country, it is just a flip of a coin whether your marriage will work out or not.

We were introduced by her uncle in San Francisco. On a cold rainy San Francisco day, my sister's husband went to visit one of his old neighbor from China. He mentioned to her uncle that I was going to China in November. It turns out he has a niece that lived in the city that I was passing through, Nanning. Her uncle thought it would be a good idea for me to meet her as his niece is old at age 21 and almost past the age where chinese men would want to marry. In China, if you aren't educated, rich, or drop dead gorgeous, and past 21, you'll have a tough time finding a man to marry you.

I was in Shenzen for 5 days before I went to Nanning. When I flew into Nanning, she and her sister met me that night. She told me she really didn't want to meet me, but her family kept nagging her to meet me. And the rest is history! We spent about 3 week together traveling to Beihai, Guilin, and DongXing(her home town).

She told me I was fat and that I needed to lose weight, so I'm off to work on my abs. I 'm going back in March for the real wedding and I need to slim down some.

what a society, thats waaay too easy! 3 weeks for an arranged marriage. Then you are guaranteed to get some for the rest of your life! Even my more religious Jewish cousins, where they don't even touch the girl before marriage, they have many long hours of conversations over a 6 month period before they decide to get married. (This after thorough investigation of the girl and family).

that's most certainly not true, girls of age are becoming a commodity in china these days since the boys out number the girls due to the cultural preference for boys. There is a growing black market for brides in china, especially in the rural areas.
In fact, the exact opposite of that statement is true, if you are a poor, uneducated, ugly guy in china, then you better take those WoW accounts from the OP.
