With a boss like that are you sure the company isn't in trouble? Offering any $ amount to leave would send up a worry flare for me.

How would the company know about such people? Do you know of anybody that tells their boss "I don't like working for company, but I only work because I need to"?
I see this as an incentive for companies that greatly depend on customer service as being their #1 priority.

Of course if this was for a $5/hr job, I can see it almost getting abused but I would expect the company to put rules in place to prevent such from happening..
Of course if you make $70+k/yr, this is also useless as well.
