if your boss offered you $2000 to quit, would you?

This morning at the quarterly meeting, everyone was offered $2000 to quit.

No, the company is not in trouble. The offer is more about getting rid of people that aren't passionate about the company or their job.

So, would YOU quit your job right now for $2k?

you can't use numbers, you have to ask in %. Is 2k what you make in a week or 2 months?

I'd take several months severance if they wanted to incentivize me to quit, and 2k aint exactly that, see?

I like my job so wouldn't quit, but if I didn't like my job I'd quit if the offer were about 40k.

200k minimum since odds are I would never get the same kind of job again and have to settle for a huge paycut.

If I'm working some minimum wage job, I might take that offer. But like others have said, it depends on the % of your income.
