Only an idiot would choose manual for the rest of their lives.

They are not considering things like driving when older, the frusturations of heavy city traffic for years and years, the possibilty of losing your left leg or braking your foot..

Manual might be a fun gimmick, but its not worth the years of grief it will bring you later in life.

I used to be religious about having to have a standard transmission. But now...

I would rather have a standard transmission if my car has a small engine.

If my car has a large powerful engine then I am fine with automatic.

Auto, much more fun. Don't think I could hack nor having to change gears/use the cluth, you get used to it and it becomes automatic

Besides, they'll have mass-produced clutchless manuals by the time I'm older so my left foot won't be doing anything anywho, paddle shifters! And I drive in heavy city traffic with my manual now... you get used to it.
