It's pretty sad. All the people saying do have sex if you're not prepared to have a kid, look at it from a rational point of view. The woman knows she can get pregnant and thus should not have sex unless she is prepared to have the kid and pay for it her own damn self.
men do have a say silly. they can have sex or not. there's your say.

she has no choice. the courts will demand it. if she does not fallow what the court says then they will deal with her.

IIRC If the man wants visitation rights etc he has to pay Child Support etc.

However, several women I know do not want the man to have anything to do with the baby so they went to court and the man never has to pay for support, but also never gets to see/spend time with the kid unless the mom allows it.

unless you accidentally stuck your wang in her, then accidentally forgot to pull out like a dingus, then that accident was no accident.

when my wife and 1 (GF at the time) got pregnant, i was told that any and all monetary responsibilities were mine IF (and it is a big if)...... you aren't married. the GF and i talked it over and decided that that was the direction we were headed anyways and got hitched. not only did it save us 3-4K in initial costs, our tax return joint was substantially higher (thousands of dollars) than it would've been not married. so, as you can see, having a child is not only a special, life gratifying experience, it's a monetary investment in your future... LOL

In many parts visatation rights and child supoort are not together. meaning that a father who is not paying child support still has visatation rights.

also a father has the right to get visatation. the mother can not say no they don't want him to see them. she has no choice. unless there is a darn good reason.

well thats how it is sopposed to work anyway.

What if the man was raped by the woman? You know she was stronger, held at gunpoint, or she was psycho and inseminated herself with a condom or something to that effect?

So, yeah. Man has sex with woman. Woman gets pregnant (e.g. condom breaks, lies about birth control, pull out too late, etc.).

Baby undeniably belongs to man (e.g. man doesn't deny it, DNA shows it, etc.)

Man decides he wants nothing to do with woman and never speaks to her again.

Is woman now entitled to sue man/ask for child support/etc.? If so, what can the man do in response?

Please don't turn this into a thread about MORALS. It's obvious that guys who do this are pretty scummy. I'm just curious about how the law handles it.
One word: Responsibility

Don't wanna be a daddy, don't stick the babymaker where that might happen.

Alot of times its out of your control/responsiblity when women lie about things. It's really more or less try and sleep with someone whom you trust. Unfortunate becuase there are alot of hot women whom I don't trust.

It can work that way. However, in the cases I am talking about, it is kind of like a payoff to not have anything to do with the kid. The woman/girl made an agreement that the man will not have to pay child support nor would they pursue it, as long as they dont come around.

the man is screwed...it you get someone pregnant by accident/trying and you break up or not you now have an obligation to support that child. The courts will make sure of that.

Pretty much the only way a guy doesn't have to pay child support is if the girl doesn't want it, which did happen to a girl I know.

Yeah, I was wondering that too.

Uh, the woman wins both times.

Aww...haha...listen to all the kids here who have either A) never had sex, or B) have been with one, maybe two women at the most.

Look, women have the power, and it's bullshit. Do we force women to have sex with us? Hell no! Are all women these naiive, silly girls who don't know the difference between a condom and a plastic bag? Hell no!

Women can be calcuating & coniving (sp?) son's-o-bitches. For every guy who talked his girl into letting him go bareback because it "feels so much better" there's a poor guy who trusted his girlfriend that she was taking care of herself.

If a woman says, "I'm on the pill, I can't protected, we're safe", isn't it ok for the man, who you know, is FVCKING her, to believe what she says? It may sound CRAZY but typically, by the time a man and woman have sex there is a level of trust involved. Sure, not always (one-nighters), but more often than not I would say there's some-level of trust.

So, said woman says, "nut your heart away, I can't get pregnant". You proceed to nut your heart away...and then BAM...woman gets pregnant. What then? Man is suddenly responsible for child, even if it's in the best interest of man and woman to abort.

FVCK THAT! Woman makes the decision to allow the man to ejaculate inside her, and, because there is trust, he proceeds to do so, woman then gets pregnant, no, not because the BC failed but because she simply "thought" she couldn't get pregnant and HE's supposedly responsible for the next 18 (or 23) years of his life?

Yeah...something about that isn't right....

Nah, hell, if it's an accident, just apologize and be on your way. No one can expect you to be responsible, after all, it's HER responsiblilty to use birth control, not your's...

gets out lawnchair...
