You didn't include a rating low enough for me to choose.

As a matter of fact, now that I think about it, there isn't a rating low enough for the scumbags we have in the White House.

Does that help with your general consensus?

Overall thumbs up. I agree with most of his policy slate but he's spending waaaaaaaayyyy too much money. If I had a complaint that would be #1. When the Dems are looking at your spending and saying "damn!!!" you know you're out of control.

purely as a president? he's doing an OK job.

makes me glad that the US has term limits, though.

that's more thumbs than anyone deserves, but you do more bashing than one man should so it follows.
That's two thumbs down for every U.S soldier killed in Iraq.

If you include the innocent Iraqi civilians murdered by Bush that would jump to around 203,496.

He sucks isn't the phrase I'd use, I'd say he's just not doing the job he needs to be doing. At a time when the government is already spending too much money, he's spending even more instead of reigning it in. At a time when the country is very divided on many issues, he's making that division worse instead of uniting the country. And at a time when the world is clearly a more dangerous place, he is quite possibly making it even more dangerous instead of less so.

All that aside, I don't think he's a terrible person or a total failure. I just think that when I look at my metrics for what I'd like to see from the current president, Bush just doesn't measure up.

I voted "He Sucks" because the poll doesn't include "Worst Imbecile Ever to Disgrace the White House".

The poll is "obviously" skewed liberal since everyone knows that an overwhelming majority of the country is extremely favorable towards Bush and the Republican regime.

Why do this survey? The results are completely arbitrary. A lifetime of swatting flies does not make one an entomologist. "Data" collected like this is essentially worthless except for making you feel good or bad. To repeat, why do this "survey?"

So...

Are you doing anything?

Or do you just not give a damn?

I have a feeling it's the latter, but please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

In all honesty, I have nothing really against the guy, his ideals may not be close to mine, but he obviously has a support base who do endorse his views and policies. Personally I don't think Bush really does anything, his policies and speeches are obviously created by people behind the scenes (ie. Rove) and I don't see him taking a strong stance using his own views.

He seems very much unresearched, not too intelligent, and basically a puppet for the republican party. Of course this is expected with either of the two major parties in the US, but it is very apparent to me that Bush is not creating the focus, not working for the people and not interested in his job.

That being said, i think he is a personable guy, I think I'd hang out with him. Many people who are close to Bush love him and I must give him a lot of credit for his ability to do this. IMO this is how he was able to bring people together in his home state and get such a great reputation across a broad range of his constituents.

Bush's policies suck, I like him as a person, I guess that puts me on the fence? No idea.

please refrain from repeating yourself. it stales the thread up fast.
