i've read a lot of anti-Bushisms in here, and heard complaints of such in this forum. this poll will verify it.

The man is living proof that "like father, like son" is a lie.

He also puts to rest the previous misconception that George & Barbara Bush only had one idiot son [Neil]; we now know they had three.

As a matter of fact, now that I think about it, there isn't a rating low enough for the scumbags we have in the White House.

Does that help with your general consensus?

please refrain from repeating yourself. it stales the thread up fast.

It's a thread on Bush. It was stale before you posted it.

*edit*

Besides, I said I couldn't vote in the first post and then I decided to let you know I settled on "He Sucks" just to add to the deluge of negative votes.

This certainly gives you an idea of how liberal this forum is, considering Bush's approval rating is in the 40s. What do we have, 16% thinking he is doing a good job?

No, I think those other polls are overly optimistic.

There's a huge difference, and this poll is misleading.
There will be a lot of people who are Conservatives, Republicans, Libertarians who may vote Bush given the options, but do not care for the man due to his lack of passion, intelligence and speaking skills.

He is not a Conservative, with spending rising, the public sector creating the most job growth and agressive foreign policy, he is more frivolous than most democrats.

But this is not an indicator of how "liberal" this forum is.
My Thread Here is

See:

Taxes? (Total Votes: 64)
Not High Enough 23.44 (%)
Just right 39.06 (%)
Not Low Enough37.50 (%)

Spending? (Total Votes: 63)
Too High 82.54 (%)
Just right (can shift money around) 15.87 (%)
Too Low 1.59 (%)

The rest of the stances are very evenly distributed.

His approval rating isn't the same as his voting %, note he got 52% of the votes, with only about a 44% approval rating.

Perhaps I should rephrase. This seems to give a decent idea of how anti-Bush this forum is, wheter liberal or conservative.

Does it matter how anti-bush it is?
Basically you are indicating that the less politically informed are more likely to support Bush.

Fact is, this is not relevant in showing how "liberal/conservative" the forum is, not even close.

Your powers of deduction astound me :p Of course there are more people who dislike Bush than like Bush on this forum, that should have been obvious by now, and the poll results shouldn't be a big surprise.

Fine, take 3% off and you're still at 48-49%.

<--- Republican that thinks Bush sucks.

There are many people here that are sick of both parties. Thinking Bush sucks is not just a "liberal" point of view, as shown in many recent, and more scientific, polls.

moshquerade, this forum is basically a miniature version of DU. You will find most people here are of one particular side, they are very loud, very repetitous and get away with mean personal attacks. They all have the usual talking points, seemingly right out of a recent speech by a Democratic senator or moveon.org

After participating in P&N, it has gotten worse each month. One particular side has become even more desperate, more shrill and spews more lies than I can bare. Yes, thats the side that says Bush is dumb, he is a ass and he sucks etc etc. I cannot take this much crap and have stayed away from this particular forum. I now usually visit once a week to check on things, maybe it'll be once a month if things continue this way. I just cannot take the moveon.org talking points anymore. If I wanted that, I'd rather go to DU, which is a million times bigger than this forum and has more original ultra leftist posters.

I really think these people believe that they're actually making a difference and the American population is really listening to them. Polls are one thing, election results are another. Face the facts, the American people are not listening to you because your message sucks. ASS.

Bush's message sucks too, and I agree with that. But they would rather have a person in office who is willing to do SOMETHING rather than listen to the UN. I'm more liberal than I am conservative, but the so-called liberals on this forum are really making me think twice about my positions. I'm afraid they will turn me into a conservative and that is something I don't want to be. Maybe that is the reason why I'm trying to stay away from this place.

Besides, real life political conversations with people are far more entertaining and you do actually accomplish something.

I'm just waiting for new hardware to come so I can play Battlefield 2 more smoothly. I'm just surfing random websites, nothing is happening, slow day (after midnight actually). Got job early tomorrow, but can't fall asleep. Might as well check on P&N.

hope they're good enuff excuses
