Are you dead inside man???

As much as I like basil, I wouldn't consider that a pizza.

Looks like a Burrito shell with some sauce spread thin with a butter knife and a couple small pieces of cheese dropped on her and there.

A Neapolitan pizza is one of the classics.

That one looked pretty anemic, was my point I suppose.

I think of this for a Neapolitan.

You know, I am not picky about pizza. One of my go-to stops when I'm out on errands is Sam's Club. I think it's maybe a dollar or two for a giant slice of pepperoni that is actually pretty dang tasty!

I like sams club pizza also. Never been to Costco but assume they are similar.

Everyone should try a jalapeño bacon pineapple pizza from whatever place you prefer. It is an ultimate pizza.

We occasionally grab couple of slices when we hit Sam's.

Is pretty good and cheap when your just out shopping instead of hitting a fast food joint.

I believe this line of thinking is what brought us pizza casseroles.

Nowadays I mostly just eat Papa Murphys. They take good and are easy to cook, and between online sales and their reward program I can get two large pizzas for less than $30.

$100+ bucks for Pizza?

Uh, that's if you want 6 of them shipped to you. That's less than $20 per pizza, and bear in mind that 2 slices of typical Chicago stuffed pizza is a very, very, very heavy meal for an adult human. Each one of those pizzas is dinner for ~ 4 people. All things considered, it's a solid deal...assuming you really love that stuff.

ITT: people that don't know shit about pizza. Which is incredulous for me to say, considering I started the OP talking about pizza hut.

He's right. The crust to good stuff ratio is way too high. I guess "Neapolitan" sounds better than soggy basil bread.

arguably, for a proper neapolitan the center should be soggy and it's a knife/fork affair. This definitely alienates a lot of Americans used to the American style pizza. Soggy center isn't my preference either, and a lot of American style pizzerias serving the neapolitan style have adjusted to our tastes and cook theirs a little longer for a dryer/crispier crust.

Heck yeah their pepperoni can be pretty good on the regular crust.

I always get the Herb Chicken Mediterranean on thin crust. I personally think its the best chain pizza ever period.

Perhaps this thread was the impetus, but the Pizza Hut closest to us closed down last week. It had been there at least 20 years.
