Heck, if you want to start looking at people's eating utensils, the bare hand is the better than anything, but that's considered bad manners in most civilized nations.
It depends, the fork is more efficient for most things. But for rice (what asians eat most), it's easier to use a chopstick than fork.
No. ONLY for sticky rice can you use chopsticks, and a fork works better for that anyway.
I've seen many people use chopsticks for NON STICKY rice such as shrimp fried rice.
Truth. The Only thing that a Asian cannot use a chopstick for is soups and stews, for obvious reasons.
You should get hollow chopsticks, slurp up the liquid stew then eat the bits the usual way! :laugh:
