Exactly. Not to mention, they disrupt general public / business activities. What if you were in the bookstore, and wanted to buy a magazine when 90-100 people came in and took over the place. It's not funny.
lighten up and dont take a magazine so seriously(or better yet goto another f-ing store or wait 5 minutes till they dissipate). you can tell all the stressed out, up tight, anal people here.

I'm not uptight at all, I just hate "random" mobs because I want to go about my day and not have some retard and his pals act like jackasses at the expense of my time.

IMO, this is abuse of free speech. Mabye you flash mob people should take life a little more seriously and stop f'ing around just because you think its funny. Its like going back through high school, but worse. :|

Maybe we should stage a flash mob to help you get the stick out of your butt...
Sorry you had to wait an extra 5 minutes to get your latest copy of YM.

dont goto a bookstore if people browsing magazines is bothersome. GOTO FVCKING AMAZON.

I doubt they are unemployed, i doubt they are fools and i doubt they were doing it to be cool. They were prolly doing it to try something different, for a thrill or for something could end up being *gasp* fun.

This is one time when I don't agree with gigapet.

I'm often on a very tight schedule, and 5 minutes of pointless BS can make me late for something I had planned. It may seem like all harmless "fun" to you and the people doing it, but it can be just annoying to the people it affects.

You fail to acknowledge responsibility for effecting other peoples lives. Could be positive, could be negative. In the case of flash mobs, its negative.

If I'm trying to get in there to pick up a magazine before I head to work or a friends house, then yes, it is annoying to me.

If I'm just fvcking off during some free time, then I wouldn't care, but if it makes me late for something, it's not so harmless to me.

Al Sharpton blocking the AC Expressway is pissing away my time.
If I'm in a bookstore browsing magazines, I'm already pissing away my own time.

Right, because we all know those with real jobs who have responsibilities love to waste their time doing things like this. I'd be interested to know how many of them had houses and full time jobs.

BTW, being different by being like a few hundred other people kinda defeats the point.

Sh*t happens. A traffic accident can slow you down, bad timing and catching every single red-light can do the same. You can miss the train by 5 seconds because you decided to make your bed that morning.

While I doubt I'd ever participate in a flash mob, I don't see what the big deal is, if it's harmless fun, esp. since from what I can tell, it's typically over in like 15 min. or so. It's not like this concept will ever catch on to the point that twice a week there's a flash mob going on in your town.

By you guys' reactions, you would think they were blocking the line at the pharmacy or the bank! If you were in such a rush, you wouldn't be at the book store buying magazines.

they were trying something different not trying to be different.

I wouldnt be surprised if most of them had jobs houses and responsibilties that they wanted to get away from the routine and throw a little spice in there boring and predictable lives.

You think being uptight is not wanting to be bothered?
Nobody wants to be bothered. It's a matter of what miniscule little things you allow to bother you.
So you're saying you don't mind if someone else pisses away your time?
your miserable I have a gun you can borrow.
Thats nice, I have 3 of my own. You fail to acknowledge responsibility for effecting other peoples lives. Could be positive, could be negative. In the case of flash mobs, its negative.
your miserable......its hopeless arguing with a miserable person.

Can't defeat that thing called..... LOGIC. :Q

ON NOES! t3h 1NT3rW3B 1S WR0NG!

This is one time when I don't agree with gigapet.

I'm often on a very tight schedule, and 5 minutes of pointless BS can make me late for something I had planned. It may seem like all harmless "fun" to you and the people doing it, but it can be just annoying to the people it affects.

if browsing magazines is that annoying to you , then you should loook into killing yourself immediately cuz you live a sad sad life.

If I'm trying to get in there to pick up a magazine before I head to work or a friends house, then yes, it is annoying to me.

If I'm just fvcking off during some free time, then I wouldn't care, but if it makes me late for something, it's not so harmless to me.

a book or magazine can never be that important. If it is you should have planned delays into your schedule. When you goto work in the morning to leave with exactly enough time to get there not banking on any traffic? No certainly not you plan to leave enough time so if htere are delays you make it on time to work still.

:) ;)

dont goto a bookstore if people browsing magazines is bothersome. GOTO FVCKING AMAZON.

I doubt they are unemployed, i doubt they are fools and i doubt they were doing it to be cool. They were prolly doing it to try something different, for a thrill or for something could end up being *gasp* fun.

keep rolling your eyes. Keep that stick nice in snug in your ass.

Right, because we all know those with real jobs who have responsibilities love to waste their time doing things like this. I'd be interested to know how many of them had houses and full time jobs.

BTW, being different by being like a few hundred other people kinda defeats the point.

they were trying something different not trying to be different.

I wouldnt be surprised if most of them had jobs houses and responsibilties that they wanted to get away from the routine and throw a little spice in there boring and predictable lives.

If your life is so pathetic that an asinine event such as this makes you feel complete, you deserve pity.
