OK. Just asking. So although the actions are within the law, and no other administration has done this, its not good. Seems those who wrote the laws (Congress) wouldve thought of this and explicitly closed this gap.
Sure, it is Congress fault for not foreseeing that an administration would take these laws and apply them the most draconian way possible.
Remember these are misdemeanors we are talking about. We should probably change every law in the nation because they could all be used this way. Zero tolerance policy on public intoxication! You get caught intoxicated we put you in jail to await trial and put your kids in a cage. No bail allowed. Also, this is going to overload the courts and your trail will not take place for 4-8 months. At the end of it you will be released, so will your kids, not but not together. It is up to you to figure out where they are and collect them.
