It's going to look like it's gone through a sandpaper after a year at this rate. I'd rather look at my picture slideshows without looking through a hazy scratched up plastic. kthnxbye

Ya know what's sad? When this tool returns this iPod Nano to Best Buy, he's probably going to tell them that it was scratched like that when he opened it. Worse yet, he'll probably bitch to the manager when the customer service guy refuses to give him a full refund, and get back every penny for the iPod that he damaged :(

I hope your fender falls off the first day you drive your brand new car right after you drive out of the lot. Then let's see if you'll be bitching to get a full refund. Tool.

Aren't all iPods like that? My brother's 20GB got pretty scratched in the first few days, so he bought the little cover for it.

Heh... What I love best about this reply is that he didn't even TRY to deny that he's going to lie to the BB returns desk about damaging the iPod at the gym when he returns it! Man, I called that one!

Why would I even need to lie? It's not like I made an accident and scraped it on something. It got scratched from normal use because it made of a cheap soft plastic. That's unacceptable to me. The fact is that I'm not satisfied with this product's build quality. This the customer satisfaction guarantee plan gaurantees me a full refund. You have a problem with that? Sue me.

Easy, just call his Best Buy and tell them that some idiot friend of yours dropped his new iPod Nano and is going to try to return it.

I think a more acccurate comparison would be:

"I hope your car's paintjob gets hairline scratches and blemishes under normal use. Then let's see if you'll be bitching to get a full refund. Tool."

Nah, we don't care about the iPod part. We don't like the part about you damaging your item and then trying to return it.

You guys just don't get it. It's more like if you bought a car.. and when you drove it normally, and the fender falls off the first day. The fender wasn't built well, and it fell off from normal use.
So you still broke it from using it.. But it's certainly not your fvcking fault that it's built so god damn cheaply. If apple just spent FIVE FVCKING more dollars to use real glass on the convering, instead of that CHEAP ASS SOFT PLASTIC, IT WOULD NOT GET SCRATCHED. I'm the one getting screwed here.. not APPLE, because they decided to cut corners on their overpriced junk.
If you do a google search for ipod nano scratch easily, you'll find HUNDREDS OF THE SAME COMPLAINTS!

yeah go use your beloved sandpapered ipods.. I'll return mine.. SO STFU!

I have no opinion on the ipod.. never been interested in one.. I just fail to understand the logic here.

I guess if you're dissatisfied with the product though, that's a perfectly legitimate reason to return it..

It just sounds bad when its YOUR fault the product got scratched in the first place.. it's a pretty lame excuse to return something, but whatever. ;) I'd probably return it too, but not because it got scratched up.... don't get it into situations where it can be scratched...

Oh STFU already with that stupid car/fender analogy. Untill something falls off your Ipod, think of something better to compare it to. If you consider your purchase "an overpriced junk" guess what it makes you look like?

you want glass? thats brittle enough it would have CRACKED rather than SCRATCHED.

Smoooooooth. And yes, scratching is normal use, IF YOU DONT USE A COVER, EXPECT IT TO BE SCRATCHED, THATS WHY THERE IS A MARKET FOR COVORS.

God you are so ignorant. Its not like a fender falling off at all, its like you bumped up against a pole and got a small scratch on the side of the car, and you are trying to return it for the paint not being resistant to that.

How is it my fault? It's not like I accidently dropped it and scratched it.
It got scratched just by normal use because apple chose to cut corners, and used cheap, soft plastic that gets scratched by the lightest touch.
