but at least your gov gives your army the means to do this... great tanks, ships, aircraft, guns...the works. british troops dragged along with the US get landrovers with bullet proof vests.

anyway this isnt a thread on iraq (which by rights should be in P&N getting chargrilled)

LOL!
I'm reading this thread and it has NOTHING to do with the War on Terror.. yet someone makes some insane connection!

Thats bullshit.
Just because you dont believe what he believes doesnt mean its some "blind Jesus stick". Have some respect for other peoples religons and quit being a little *****, religon isnt going anywhere so deal with it. :disgust:

You don't hit your father, regardless of what he has done. Chill out. I don't care what others tell you but this is between your mother and your father.

Are you effing retarded. I am 21 and if my dad EVER touched my mom it would mean his ass on the floor...

I wanted to hit my dad many times growing up, being a testosterone ridden youth myself.
But I'm so glad I never gave in.
For one, I would have deserved a royal beat down. And you do need one now, still to this day apparantly.

You dont hit your father. Even if hes a lowlife, you dont do that. You respect both of your parents.
If your dad hits your mom, you call 911.

I have a great relationship with my mother and father (who are not divorced) and you dont get that if you resort to popping your old man because you are a punk b!tch who needs to grow a pair and be a man who respects both of his parents.
Anyone who advocates hitting their father is scum of the earth and you need an aluminum bat in your face (and I hope when you attack your father you get it  )
Go Team Internet Tough Guy!

OP- The only thing to do now is quit being emotional and suggest to your parents that you all go to professional family counseling. For years. Its your only hope at all.
Otherwise, this marriage is over like DMichael said. His scenario is pretty close to what will happen otherwise.

I wish you the best of luck, but as other ppl have said, you didn't have to call your mom... shoulda talked to dad first.

Your mom would obviously take your word over it if your dad wasn't willing to cooperate with you and if you had to go to mom as a last resort.

Sorry but IMHO your mom needs to kick him to the curb and get a divorce ASAP, given the fact that this isn't his first time. He clearly can't be faithful, and will only hurt her again.
