I just caught my Dad cheating on my Mom :(

I went to Barnes and Nobles with my buddy and I saw my Dad's car in the parking lot. I went in and there he was with another woman. I called my Mom and she bolted down to B and N and went off on him. She is telling him off right now in the kitchen. My Dad just told my Mom to get her finger out of his face. If my Dad lays ONE finger on my Mom he is going to be bleeding on the floor. :| :| :|

UPDATE:Everything has fine for right now. I heard the word "divorce" thrown around a few times. My Mom came into my room asking me if everything was OK. Eventually we all made our way to the kitchen and some tears were shed. I talked to my dad one on one. We had a real deep convo. My mom came and we continued to real deep convo. Too long to even cliff up. It looks like the whole family is going to start again from scratch. We have a lot of bumps to be ironed out. I will post an update later on.

You called your mom and told her before talking to your dad about it? How do you know it wasn't an innocent meeting between friends?

What were your dad and the other woman doing in B&N that led you to conclude they were hooking up as opposed to shopping?

You are 20 and you couldn't confront your dad, instead calling your mom and having her make a scene in public?

If your father is capable of hurting someone else, you are, as an adult, responsible for stopping that...If you don't you are just as guilty as he...

He is way to nice to this woman. She calls the house all the time and I've seen them talking any times before. He has tried cheating on my Mom before and she kicked him downstairs on the couch for a while. So I know what I saw.

should of stayed out of it.

should of told your dad later to nock it off in private but calling your mom was the WRONG move.

You obviously don't have a great relationship with your father, and to be honest it sounds like you are way biased towards your mom.

Talk about being guilty until proven innocent.
 
yeah well maybe he is in the wrong but maybe your mom is an unloving bitch towards him and has drove him away. Don't be so fast to jump to conclusions.
