Maybe, Jr. should have walked up to Daddy and this other woman in B&N to get a better take on things....
/with that said - i'd bet there has been issues along these lines for sometime... Maybe Mom needs to not be a doormat and move on....
Or maybe dad has been a doormat for too long and has finally had his fill. Approaching the father and the woman in the B&N would have been the BEST first move. At least in that situation how they act is far more telling than what they say.
Maybe if OP was like 12 or 13 then I could see him calling mom.. But he is 20 years old... TWENTY, an adult. Talk to your dad first, then when you find out he is a cheat, go home and explain the situation to your mom in a MATURE way.
HAHAHA yeah, i'd love to see how that unfolds... IF you can get him to admit he was cheating in the first place.
He doesn't have to admit it. If the mom doesn't believe the kid when he tells her, then she deserves whatever comes to her...
WHAT THE HELL???
Okay so the next time someone get's mad at their dad, they should tell their mother that he spotted the father out cheating?
If Mommy goes and sees Daddy at B&N with another woman (which is COMPLETELY justified as he has apparently done this before), and he can't explain the situation without a conflict, then where is this wrong? If the dad did something wrong, he should be able to explain it, otherwise he is busted...

Maybe they were holding hands. Apparently, that's where babies come from

What were your dad and the other woman doing in B&N that led you to conclude they were hooking up as opposed to shopping?
He is way to nice to this woman. She calls the house all the time and I've seen them talking any times before. He has tried cheating on my Mom before and she kicked him downstairs on the couch for a while. So I know what I saw.
You obviously don't have a great relationship with your father, and to be honest it sounds like you are way biased towards your mom.
Talk about being guilty until proven innocent.

UPDATE: Everything has fine for right now. I heard the word "divorce" thrown around a few times. My Mom came into my room asking me if everything was OK. Eventually we all made our way to the kitchen and some tears were shed. I talked to my dad one on one. We had a real deep convo. My mom came and we continued to real deep convo. Too long to even cliff up. It looks like the whole family is going to start again from scratch. We have a lot of bumps to be ironed out. I will post an update later on.
Horrible update..
Talked to your dad one on one? ABOUT WHAT
Family gonna start again from scratch? HOW EXACTLY DO YOU DO THIS
Waiting for a better update..
Dude STFU, who are you to demand anything from this kid. Have a little sympathy, his parents are probably headed for a rocky future if not divorce.

I went to Barnes and Nobles with my buddy and I saw my Dad's car in the parking lot. I went in and there he was with another woman. I called my Mom and she bolted down to B and N and went off on him. She is telling him off right now in the kitchen. My Dad just told my Mom to get her finger out of his face. If my Dad lays ONE finger on my Mom he is going to be bleeding on the floor. :| :| :|

yeah well maybe he is in the wrong but maybe your mom is an unloving bitch towards him and has drove him away. Don't be so fats to jump to conclusions.
My Mom is not a bitch :| She is always trying to make the relationship right. She makes his dinner plate for him every night. Many times he doesnt eat it. Tonight his plate is still laying there on the counter cold.

This is why you shouldn't marry. Being a man you naturally want to go bang some other chick, and if things turn for the worse you have to give her half your stuff just because of one little flirt. It ain't worth it.

Yeah but your buddy is a lunatic...
1 - You don't cheat on your spouse
2 - You don't pull a gun on your dad in HIS house
