Crazy thing right now is that there is no real recession we are just coming back down to normal. Even with this massive drought we have enough for everyone. We just don't care, we want more and more and more because we got used to mortgaging our future for what we want right now. I dont see any immediate hope because the stupid continue to outbreed the smart and we have let the catholic church destroy our side of the world by promoting overpopulation and under-thinking. We enjoyed it while it wasn't fucking us over but now we have to pay the piper for these massive populations that are starting to realize how much we have been profiting off of them.
It's time to simplify our lives and live smarter not larger but we don't want to and we don't care about 1 year in the future let alone 50 or a hundred. I think eventually technology will cure the worlds stupidity through education and communication but that could be many many years from now and we will first have to survive the backlash from our excess.
