Ya, lots of bark and no bite.

Still, I wish people would call the cops regularly and without hesitation on anyone that throws bottles out the window at another car or anything else that is so stupid for that matter. The fear would stop them from doing that stuff which could potentially catch an unsuspecting driver off guard and cause the to swerve and possible end up killing someone.

I swear, it really pisses me off knowing that the vast majority of serious accidents and deaths on the highway are a result of drivers doing dumb crap out of rage or simply not paying attention. There is never a case where such actions are worth the risk of killing or hurting someone.

LOL. You don't know me very well. I have waved people to the side of the road and had face to face confrontations before. I've nearly brought an old lady to tears for not letting me merge. I would think nothing of throwing a bottle at a deserving asshole.

You sir, deserve to be in jail for serious road rage and aggressive driving. Try that with me, and i'd call the cops faster than you can say 'move over'.

i have done it before and would not hesistate to do it again.

No ar-tard. i've called the cops on drivers i've seen that have serious aggressive driving issues on the road... swerving in and out of lanes, 'bump drafting' .. and hell yes... if you threw a bottle at MY CAR.. i'd call the cops. Thats vandalism and creating a hazardous driving condition.

Not to mention i'd sue your ass for the damage caused to my car.
*pats* I am sure you would champ, I am sure you would

So you would agree that the Passively aggressive driver SRAAZ is just as much an asshole the aggressive driver swerving in and out of lanes in traffic.

From PennDOT's website:
It's not your job to teach others to drive. If, for example, you block a speeding car to slow it down, you might be inviting trouble. Leave law enforcement to the police

People don't call the cops about that stuff because they know that the cops won't do anything about it.

If you are putting other people in danger on the road needlessly then you are an asshole. No rocket science here.

Ya, I know.... :(

Such is life. Too many people don't care about how irresponsible and inconsiderate they are if they believe nothing bad will happen to them. It's a terrible mentality.

My favorite is when I move in the left lane to pass someone and an idiot like Techboy comes screaming up behind me and rides my ass until I'm passed the car in the right lane. I will at most do 5 over the limit to pass someone in the right lane. If that's not fast enough for you jerkwads in your BMW's too bad. Next time CALL A FRIGGIN' AMBULANCE FOR YOUR PREGGO WIFE!
I also love it when I wait until I've got two car lengths from the car I've passed to start moving back over and the nitwit in said BMW will cut off the poor unfortunate soul I just passed because he can't wait 5 more seconds for my lane change. They will invariably not be looking at my turn signal as I start moving over and proceed to almost rear end me. It's like "Hello, I'm passing safely on the left, you think maybe I'll be moving back over to the right lane again? Maybe?!?!?" One day they will rear end me and cause a nice 5 car pile up in the process. Then we'll see what the big hurry was.

Appropriate for the thread.

I'm in the gtfo of the way crowd. If a person isn't moving I wont flash or honk, I'll just pass them. If I'm coming up fast on someone in the left lane and there is clearance in the middle I will just preemptively pass them and not ride their ass just to avoid the hassle.

Forgot to mention when I posted this: I always drive 5mph over. If I'm driving and someone is catching up to me at an insane speed then I will block your fucking ass in. You follow the law first.
LOL, you just go ahead and try. Let me just say, I have a truck that I don't mind totaling. I hope you feel the same way about your car. ;)

Yes but what is your idea of clearance? Two car lengths? That is cutting someone off. Regardless if they have to hit the brakes to avoid you, it creates an unsafe situation where if you have to brake suddenly as you are changing lanes, they will hit you. People get away with it all the time because nothing happens. But that 1 in 100 times you do it where there is something in the road and you have to slam your brakes, you're going to get hammered in the rear. Just wait the extra 5 -10 seconds and see if the guy in front is going to get over.

The other thing I see people do all the time is changing lanes as they go through an intersection. Another thing you're not supposed to do but the cops never write tickets for it that I've seen. Think of it this way. Multilane road and you're in the middle lane, you start changing lanes to the right lane as you go through an intersection but OOPS! What's this? That fellow who just checked to see if it's clear to make his right on red is pulling out! GAH! Instant t-bone.

By clearance I meant sufficient enough as to not cut another car off. I would say 5 or more car lengths at least. If there were only two then I would have to be up on the persons ass in front of me to do the lane change, which I try to avoid.

Damn right. It's just a car, it can be replaced. And if you rearend the shit out of me then I'm going to be getting quite a lump sum. Rearends are almost ALWAYS the rearender's fault. The only exception to this I can think of is if someone cuts you off then slams on their brakes.

Ok then you are one of the better drivers out there. Props to you sir! Most of the ones I see don't even wait till I've gone two car lengths past. If they can fit their car in the gap they will do it.
I've gotten pretty good at judging the nitwits that will do this. If they're all over my bumper as I'm passing then I'll just wait for them to do their thing and cut off the guy in the next lane. There's nothing I can do about it, but I'm not adding to the situation by starting to move over if I think they will do this. I will usually wait for three or four car lengths to get over if they look flakey.
I had a friend who used to pull into the passing lane and then immediately put his turns signal on to get back over so it was on the whole time he was passing. At the time it kind of bugged me but I think I know why he used to do it now.

I said TOTALED, not fender bender. And let me tell you another thing about America, you may have the right to sue, but if the guy you're suing doesn't have anything, you won't be able to get a lawyer to take your case and you definitely won't get any money. All you'll be left with is lump of metal on the side of the road...and a towing fee. :)
