So I watched some of the videos for the first time, and I have just one question.

Why is Gill Grissom doing infomercials for a blender company?

What are the blades made of?

Adamantium.

That explains everything.

They tried to blend Wolverine, but it broke. Same thing happened with Jack Bauer, oddly enough.

Well Wolverine could heal himself and had a higher Adamantium mass, and Jack probably had Chloe break into the blender's mainframe and upload a virus to the motor.

I am not going to lie... I immediately went to their website and suggested them to try Jack Bauer...

I think we need an ATOT effect...

Jack Bauer
International terrorists, the Chinese, and even the President of the United States have been trying to kill him for years, yet he has continually been able to out wit them with only a messenger bag, palm pilot, and Chloe Sullivan. Jack Bauer is indestructible... but "will it blend"?

LMAOSSO!

Anti-terrorist smoke: don't breathe that!

But I still don't see the point in wasting so much money on these things.

Depends on if you use it or not. My previous > $100 blenders all fell apart pretty quickly. I use them on a regular basis, so this was an investment in a quality tool rather than a toy ;)

Don't you know? All those little "sabbaticals" he's been going on in CSI have really been blender training. You have to remember, he's a scientist at heart. Dead bodies, maggots, piglet fetuses...you name it, he's blended it!

How well does it do margaritas?

Decently well. I am no margarita expert, though - I have no idea if I'm doing them right. I usually get them when I go to a Mexican restaurant (non-alcoholic because I am not a drinker) and I really like the flavor/iceness. It's like a high-quality Slurpie without a ton of sugar. I haven't been able to nail down the consistency yet. The trick is to crush the ice first, then add the margarita mix. The mix I got is kind of a thick syrup, strawberry-flavored. It's quite good, but I need to figure out how to make it a little less thick without being too sugary.

If you have any tips I'd love to hear them!

add a little water

I would say add orange juice instead of water, it will keep from watering down your margarita. The whole point is you are supposed to add tequila but since you aren't you need to add something, I have made virgin pina coladas with OJ before and it is a pretty good somewhat neutral liquid to smooth things out.

BTW, if your cheesecake sauce was too thick, you could have simmered it down (reduction).
