Why is it whenever anyone starts any sort of football thread there has to be several people that jump in that mention how it affects their fantasy team?
NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOUR FANTASY TEAM!
Now I'm a huge football fan, and while I don't play fantasy football I certainly don't mind it either, it's just that all it's players have to somehow chime in about their team and how everything in the "real" football world affects their fantasy teams.
All fantasy sports does is cheapen and make the game much more superficial to watch, such that instead of watching games for something other than the stories behind the game, or the personalities behind it, it's turned into nothing more than a game of numbers. If I wanted to deal with numbers I'd go take a math class.
Examples of the superficialness of it all:
a) say you're rooting for a team, the team heads into the red zone, and end up scoring a touchdown. Now in the old days this would be reason for celebration, yes? Not in this world howeveri, it's only cause for celebration if someone on their fantasy team scored, if it was the 3rd string RB who jumped 15 ft into the air over defenders who stacked themselves 3 man-up, it wouldn't matter because that guy wasn't starting for your damn team.
b) You're rooting for a team, and the opposing team is in your redzone. Now normally you'd want everything done so that they don't score right? Wrong, if someone on the opposing team happens to be on your fantasy team, and if they score a TD, you would be rooting FOR them. If you're a Broncos fan, Chiefs fan, or a Bears fan let's say, and you had the first pick in your draft, you'd probably be crazy not to pick LT...but that means you'd have to root for him when he's playing against your team. How un-kosher is that?
Person A: OMG did you see how player x cameback last week after suffering a life threatening injury and was gone for 3 months when no one thought he would but he ended up scoring 3 TDs!!??
Person B: Yeah he totally helped my fantasy team!
Person A: :roll:isgust;
As its name implies, it's a fantasy, it'd be like if someone constantly kept everyone else updated on how their WoW or Second Life character was doing at the moment, except it'd probably be more interesting. Enough already!
/waits for people to chime in as to how their fantasy team did this week.

Right now, all my points are in Marksmanship but I think I am going to respec Beast Mastery to be able to solo/grind better. I kinda want to PvP a lot at 48-49, and save up to get some of that sweet PvP gear before I ding 50.

yep. noticed it yesterday. Im not a huge football fan by any means. But I went to my friend's house yesterday to hang out and watch the games with them. It seemed to me that they cared more about how their FF team was doing than the game going on right in front of them. They spent more time in front of the comp than in front of the TV. All good, cuz when they were gone, I switched it to the US Open Men's Finals.
The thing is, When watching football, unless you're watching your own team play, you are more worried about FF teams, most likely, because you have money riding on your FF league. With most guys, your talk of FF is kept to a minimum when your favorite team is on, because even if you FF players are on the opposing team, you want that player to do well, but not well enough to beat your team.
Make sense?

I'm just annoyed that I will be hearing about it nonfuckingstop at work from multiple people until the season ends. Some general sports talk is fine, I just don't want to be bombarded with the FF talk alll.....day.....long.
Sorry you and the OP had crappy drafts it isn't our fault.
I can give you Joe Horn if you like I hear he is good in real estate at least.

I'd say grab the level 40's blue AB gear and the level 48 WSG bracers and you're set. Although I'm not too sure what you picked up from Zul'Farrak other than the Embrace of the Lycan (and hope you didn't piss off any rogues by doing so!) I don't venture too much into maraudon to know what gear would be good though :x. One thing you can try working on would be going into BRD for Arena runs. There's some good mail armor there, but I can't remember the exact stats so it might be tailored more toward shamans than hunters (i.e. strength as I believe it has +28 crit rating on it).

You need another defense, cowboys might play good some weeks but man is their secondary vulnerable (coming from a cowboys fan).
No way Crumpler should be your starting TE, falcons don't really have any other good options so defenses are going to smother him. I think he will get maybe 2 TDs the entire season.
Other than that, your RBs and WRs look good, QB is iffy.
