You're an idiot.

Yes he is an idiot. I don't care what he thinks. The SHO engine is great and it is rather funny that I have 225K on mine and I am still on the original transmission. By his claims I should be on my third and closing in on my fourth. The automatic trannies did suck but the manuals are fine if you don't abuse them. We were talking about engines anyway, not transmissions.

and why is it that hyundai had more sales then toyota and honda world wide?
yet you say there crappy cars? Also GMC had the most sales world wide beatting european cars, and japanese cars. And guess what? its AMERICAN.

Also, you say european cars are good? uhhhh, pre ford jags were utter crap breaking all the time. The BMW still has electical problems on half of there cars, and benz are not made the way they used to, look at the poor ownership of the ML class. And lets not even get into Range Rovers. Everyone knows there reputation by now.

Also in KOREA, hyundai makes tanks, trucks, and all sorts of other cars. In comparison, the new sonota is actually a better buy then the honda accord EX.

Just because something is made from korea does not mean its utter crap. The worlds best LCD monitors are made from a KOREAN company LG. Samsung is a KOREAN company.

I dont think i have anything more to say.

Also a rear spoiler wont do much on your car unless you have a M spoiler, or something that stands up really high. Most aftermarket spoilers are just for looks and serve no real purpose. And honestly i dont feel like driving around the city with a big hugh wing on the rear of my car.

And your so interested in weight reduction yet u want a premium sound kit in your car? HELLO??? are u dumb? The sub Box alone weights close to 30-50 lbs depending on the diameter of the sub. You are what i would call a typical RICE Rocket driver. :X

You mention cross drilled rotors to save weight? LOL. And a Z spoiler to keep the tires on the road? The ones for the Z are mostly for looks, they don't make much downforce.

Also, they've weighed the carbon fiber and fiberglass hoods and found that they're slightly heavier than the stock hood. Remember, the stock one is aluminum and very light to begin with.

Ok, so are you?

Heh. I think other people have covered it pretty well, but...

You nock the mustang, and yet it is probably the best performing car for it's price. You then say you hate American cars, but love the classics- other than beter styling, many newer cars are just part of the same formula.

Also, that 4.6L engine that makes 300hp in a 25,000 car is pretty damn good. I would be willing to bet that it is both more reliable and cost a lot less in all aspects than your 300Zx. It has more torque as well.

You diss American reliability, and then try to talk about how great European cars are? Is that a joke?

The Taurus does not need a new tranny every 60k miles. That's untrue.

Then, you try to tell me about how much that spoiler is going to keep the tires on the road? Lol?

The Carbon fiber hood is generally a waist of money on car like yours. Another post went over that.

Other stuff, I don't have the time. The point is that all in all, your post is just pure fanboyism and ignorance.

Also might want to add a cell phone so you can call a friend or your daddy to come bring your spare tire to you. Also the drilled rotors aren't that way for weight.

Also, concerning the rotors, which I almost forgot. If you have ever read anything on the topic of the mid '89-'96 300ZX you would realize, THE BRAKES FADE! OMGWTFBBQ, why do brakes fade??? Hmmm maybe because the car weighs 3400lbs!!!! Its not like cross and slot drilled rotors help COOL the brakes so they dont FADE as fast... Wow, thanks for playing, you lose. Douche.

Clearly you have no concept of why rotors are cross-drilled and slotted.

You are the dumbass who believes everything your car salesman tells you. I'm glad you drive a communist piece of crap, but you won't catch me in one. Yes, the Hyundai's and Kia's are coming along, but the resale value is total crap and ride like an 80's caddy...

Also, I only knocked Korean cars. I didn't knock their electronics, or their tanks. Also, I couldn't give a rats @ss if GMC has lots of car sales. There is a very big reason american cars DONT hold their resale value!!!! Take a look at KBB if you don't believe me...

Also, at high speeds (in excess of 100mph) a spoiler can do a lot more than you think. I'm so glad I had you here to set me straight.... No, I don't like huge wings either if you were wondering...

HELLO? ARE YOU DUMB? I didn't say a damn word about a sub now did I? I hate having too much bass, and OMG! did you ever think that if I went to the track, I just might.... take the sub box out? (and that is only considering if I actually HAD one... dumbass). You are what I call... a retard. Do you know why? The mid '89-'96 300ZX had help from Ferrari when designing it originally. Even the paint is the exact same as the famous Ferrari red. It is also just as thin as Ferraris around the same time. I'm sorry, "RICE Rockets" look like this and don't qualify for full insurance coverage for obvious reasons.

Wow, if I didn't have everyone here to correct me, I think I might have just hurt myself... research before you post....

i didnt have to change this one ;D

Isn't the SHO engine the same engine they put int he V6 mustang? Also, congratz on winning the lottery on transmissions. Go talk to a mechanic and ask them what they think of Taurus trannies from the early 90's, go ahead, I dare you.

the SHO engine was definately not in any other car, and it was ESPECIALLY not the craptastic v6 from the mustang (you'll never see this in any mustang). my SHO has 220k and has only had one transmission (its a manual to), the auto from 93-95 was were the problem was.

but now i'm part of the V8 club, the japanese V8 club.

Other stuff, I don't have the time. The point is that all in all, your post is just pure fanboyism and ignorance.

Back in high school, almost all the rich "racing" kids had new American cars (vetts, stangs, etc). Guess what they have now? 350Zs, MR2s, S2000s, etc. Its one thing to be patriotic, its another to be stupid. Yes, you are right about carbon fiber.... when you buy cheap pieces of ****** off of ebay to show kids who don't know any better. Most cheap carbon fiber hoods require so much reinforcement that they weigh more than the stock Aluminum hood... unless you buy a NICE one...

Yes a spoiler will keep the tires on the road, when you are going faster than 100mph. Unfortunately, that is something you obviously have not experienced since you are a devoute Ford guy it seems.

Also, generally, you are better off with a European car than an American. I didn't say you had to get a $120k merc.... use your damn common sense, would you not buy a car without researching it first? Yes, there are American cars that do just fine, but they are much fewer and farther between than overseas.

Also, I bought my 300ZX only after owning a '96 pathfinder XE (the pathfinder has the VG30E engine, I have the VG30DE). The engines share many of the same parts and that pathfinder has proven its reliability and has never broken down once. The most major part I've had to change was the water pump.... big whoop. Don't preach to me about reliability my family and I have owned Fords and Chevys and have yet to be impressed. How many early 90's Taurus's and Luminas do you see on the road? Like none... how many older Accords, Civics, Camrys, and Corollas do you see on the roads? They are f***ing everywhere! Do you know why American cars have gotten better? Read any interview with a head of an American car company, they are striving to be like European car styling with Japanese car reliability! Come back when you have a real argument...
