What about twin turbo'd I-6s?

Time slip scan? Cause I'm pulling a bit less than 11.9 as are many turbo'd 4s with far less than 100K in them. Its a nice car but don't get too cocky..........

Now if it is a comfort/ road noise contest you may have me there....

but how well can you handle? the Z06 has a nasty skidpad rating of 1.01g's

Those are the ratings. Bob Bondurant is a family friend and I can tell you that on his flat track 1.21 is almost easy.

And a turbo'd 1-4 or 1-6 may take me off the line because tire smoke is a HUGE problem but, who said anything about running a quarter mile? I thought you kids were street racers? Just to make life fun, I'll call one or two of my friends, my z06, a 2005 Impala that's been dyno'd at 532 fwhp, and a 67 split window that's been dyno'd at well over 700rwhp. I don't know how much he has in the impala but I helped build the 67 and he's got less than 30K in it, including the price of the car.

A 532fwhp Impala is one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. That thing can't put the stock power to the ground. What a waste.

It's very easy to get 500 hp out of a 300ZXTT. In fact, 500 hp at the rear wheels is no problem at all.

Never bring someone else's car into a car discussion. It's lame. If it's not your car, then don't talk about it. Otherwise, you get posts like, "well I know a guy with a Bugatti Veyron that'll kick your car's ass!".

Talk about your car.

I've had a '88 Lincoln Town Car (5.0L V8 version) and a 1995 Ford Bronco (5.8L V8 version). Both incredibly good vehicles. Lincoln was already used and now has well over 350k miles on it and still runs great (NO engine work except water pump replacement and alternator replacement 3 times). The Bronco is at *i belive* 125k miles and is has had 0 engine work. Even the alternator is still fine.

Yeah, he has more tire smoke problems than I do, it's an entertaining ride though.

For the 30 seconds at a time it can drive without destroying CV axles and other drivetrain parts while hopping up and down?

Sorry, it's an internal joke that slipped into type. Its a 63 body on a very modified 67 frame so we call it a 67 split window, yes we do know we're not funny. And yeah, it was a highschool graduation present, brand new.

It's really not that bad, it's an aluminum 3800 series 2 racing block that's been taken out(bored and stroked) to about 285 cubes with a stock blower housing off an SS and an aftermarket pulley cone strapped to one of the new(06) SS axles that's been very heavily re-built. He has WAY too much money into it.

Sorry bro.....I'm going to have to go with 'you are full of 'sh!t'

Pics of the car?
The frame?
Explanation of how you found a 67 frame that the body was fvcked on?

Explanation of how why his 63 would have a fvcked frame.

Explanation of why you would "heavily modify" a 67 frame when you could more easily build a new one?

etc.

etc.

etc...

Too many problems with that whole scenario.............

of course you will have all the answers though....

If I had said only "split window what" as I originally intended you would have simply said "Corvette".........

ii have 1.3litre ford dura-tec or something along those lines of supermarkets own brand of crap

not a bad little engine, though, 8valve pretty responsive, likes to be flogged. but its utterly gutless and drinks far to much fuel for a 1.3 on the M-way

I don't have all the answers actually, he did the frame swap before I got involved in the project and so far as I know he and I have done all the modifications to the frame wich means, just the cost of the steel. Why he did it I have no freakin idea, why he needed it, i have no freakin idea and i have no clue who but, someone rolled their 67, the body was fubar but, the frame just needed a small tweek back into shape. Knowing this guy he probably ****** up the frame himself and had to replace it, he gets really plasma-torch-happy sometimes, wich was why I got involved, it's sad to say but, he probably overheated and stressed the frame and picked up the 67 for cheap off the junkyard owner (he got the replacement in the late 70's) and it was tweaked till a month after I got involved in 2001. I can ask him for pics if you want, it's not in my garage so I can't just run out and take some, though I wish it was, it's freakin gorgeous.
