This is awful. I realize I'm up here Jersey, but I really feel for the people down there. I absolutely *SHUDDER* when I think of the possibility of something like that hitting here... 🙁

Holy crap, folks. This thing spun up FAST.

And Gulf water temps are in the mid- to upper-80s.

Yea, 1 to 3 degrees about normal. This beast could hit around 180 mph winds if it keeps revving up at this rate?

I'm betting on 190 now, pressure is continuing to drop while water temperatures are going to remain up there for a long time.

Edit: Its also already started the shift to the northwest according to close-up satellite.
