This is awful. I realize I'm up here Jersey, but I really feel for the people down there. I absolutely *SHUDDER* when I think of the possibility of something like that hitting here...

Holy crap, folks. This thing spun up FAST.

And Gulf water temps are in the mid- to upper-80s.

Yea, 1 to 3 degrees about normal. This beast could hit around 180 mph winds if it keeps revving up at this rate?

Edit: Its also already started the shift to the northwest according to close-up satellite.
