Returning some crappy Coby tablets tomorrow. These are twice the price (32GB) and infinitely better. Excellent deal. Had to create my EPP account to get this to work. Worked great with a legitimate company code.

Debating if I want one. We already have an iPad, so this would mainly just be an additional couch web surfer 🙂

Oh, yeah, brain fart on my part.. yeah, EPP is fine OUTSIDE of HP. Tried it from the portal page and it still shows the regular pricing.

At any rate, I got the 32GB tablet at the discounted price.

I spoke with HP and the guy said they would not accept coupons on TouchPad orders. This seems to be the case as the majority of people who used coupons are still waiting for a confirmation email.
 
They charged my credit card as well, it shows as pending transaction. I used the 15 dollar coupon on my tablets. I hope they don't cancel my order. It says in the order confirmation "If you do not receive an order status email by 10pm the next business day we suggest checking your email 'junk' folder and reviewing your order status online (the link is at the top of every page). Call us at 1-888-999-4747 and refer to order xyz if there is a problem."

So if you dont get the Email by monday at 10pm be worried.
 
yeah that's what I'm thinking... but most times when you order online from .. anywhere.. you always get an order confirmation email. Anyone NOT use the coupon code and already get a confirmation email?
 
The HP phone message still hypes the 'new HP Touchpad!'

Then it says for technical difficulties you can't talk to them and hangs up.
 
I might try to get one locally tomorrow morning. Anybody know of a full list of retailers? I'm assuming Best Buy, Target, Walmart, Staples, Office Max, etc.
 
Had the 32GB in my cart for $159 with tax, or with case for ~$165.34 with tax (needed case to get code to work). That's just a bit too much for a dead product. For ~$90 I would have been in, but it's OOS.
 
There is already talk on XDA about starting a donation for getting devs to port andriod over to this baby. I could see putting in 25 bucks or maybe even 50 bucks to get android considering i paid 90 bucks and a normal android tablet is going for 350-400.
