Unfriggin believable. Trying to get the discount, I have full priced item in my cart, but now can't get it to delete. AAAAAAHHHHH!
 
GOT IT! Friggin NoScript was causing the problem. Mine came to $92 with tax.

Now I wonder if I should have gotten the 32GB version...

You can create an academic login without having an edu address. I purchased mine as a parent buying it for a student. All I needed to do was list my sons school.

If you call them up and go on hold for about 30 minutes you can mange to get it for this price without epp or academic, BUT you will have to pay full price and wait 5 days for the refund.

I tried everything to get it as mention on that other website, but couldn't get it to work. Then tried LiveChat, waited about 30 minutes, and he said they would credit my CC when it ships. So I ordered it. But at $400, my tax was $28.00 🙁. Hope they credit that too, otherwise I may refuse the package.

Dumbasses. My company needs to taker all the idiots in charge of that fiasco and put them against the wall and form a firing line....

HP priced these as if they were Apple. Big mistake. You can't compete with Apple at their price point, why hasn't ANYBODY figured this out except the Chinese? The MP3 Player market proved that. It's not good enough to beat them in features (which many tablets don't)... you also have to beat them resoundingly in price.

Bought 1 16GB, was planning on getting a second shipped to my mom but it went OoS. Now i've got a 16 and 32GB on the way.
