I have yet another solution:

I have two (2) tanks. One with "sissy" fish... and another 110 gal tank full of south american cichlids. Any fish that isn't acting quite right in the sissy fish tank gets to swim with the big boys prior to feeding time. Two (2) problems solved at the same time!

Maybe I'm just not getting it tonight, but I don't get why this tread is so funny. A guy has a "pet" and asks how to kill it. He says its his "beloved fish" which I seriously doubt as if so there wouldn't be a need to post a movie and picture. If you have your dog or cat put down are you going to come post pics of it? Its a fish and while I think they're a tasty animal in general that I have no problem eating, I think its a bit twisted when someone gets a kick out of killing an animal for fun (which the video shows was an underlying reason.)

I just saw this thread today. I remember when my beloved Beta died. I was only a little kid and was in the whole Street Fighter 2 stage so I called him Ryu. I buried him in the backyard with a popsickle stick tombstone.

It was a fish, give the guy a break. Gage and GF took this a little too personally and didn't catch that he actually went to the fish store and bought medicine for the damn thing. I woulda flushed the guy and went and bought myself a new. Its a $4 beta, not the super duper expensive black Arrowana that I lost when my family had to move repeatedly. I think I actually remembered thought about that fish for more then like a week, except when I was told to lug our 300 gallon fishtank outside and wash the damn thing for storage.
