vice magazine did a study called "what is better for fish.. water or vinegar?"
and they took two gold fishes and put on in a bowl of vinegar and one in a bowl of water.

apparently vinegar is like crack-cocaine for fish and the fish in the vinegar swam around like crazy for hours and then died when its heart just stopped.


not that i encourage or condone this behaviour. i only share for informational purposes.

Yeah, didn't you ever kill a fly or somethin'? Dog can be someone's best friend, a fish can't. Period.

Back on topic, hey, it's a fish, he was old, he didn't respond to medicine, so he was killed. I'm not going to be losing any sleep tonight. Hell, I've gone fishing and then watched as my father beat the fish over the head with a knife to kill it, then filet it for dinner. The death of a sick beta is nothing compared to that. The video was a little much though.
