how often do you wear a watch?

Always. I like to be constantly aware of the current time, and a watch is the most convenient way to check it.

A few days out of the week...I don't have a beater watch anymore, so I'm not wearing it when I'm only going to be at the gym and hanging around the house. If I'm going out and there's anybody worth seeing, then I'll put it on.

You didn't have it on at the last meet did you? 🙁

Haven't worn one for a few years, since the battery in my last one bit the dust and nobody could get the back off to replace it 😛 Other than that, I don't like to wear them because I tend to be rough on them - breaking bands, breaking faces, dunking them and having them fill with water, you name it.

cell phone when not at a computer, computer clock when at a computer. Watch for dressier occassions like a formal dinner or wedding or something.

I never take mine off. My phone doesn't get a signal at work, so I have to turn it off to save battery. That, and I'll choose my watch over my phone anyday.

No, though I will occasionally carry a watch with a stop watch function in my pocket if a situation calls for it. Watches and other jewelry aren't allowed to be worn in electrical shop I work at, so I'm in the habit of not wearing a watch.

I do keep me phone in my pocket though. Odds are, I won't start wearing a watch again either.

I used to always wear one, but I found that once I got to work I usually took it off and set it on my desk. So now I just leave it at home. Maybe I need a lighter watch, mine is all metal and super heavy.

Nope. Either cell phone or none at all. I extremely rarely (wedding or funeral) wear a pocket watch. I usually need to replace the batteries between the events I go to.

Batteries? In a pocket watch? General rule of watches: If it takes a battery, it's not a dress watch.

This made me LOL because it is so not true. ZM and knowledge of watches are diametrically opposed.

I want to hear some honest answers from women on how often they look at a guy's watch and what they think about them

If you are wearing a watch, most women look at it. I wear a pretty nice timepiece, and nearly every woman looks at it. Women notice accessories, it doesn't make them shallow, they do it to both men, and women.

The fact remains, some people enjoy nice ,material possessions. If you can afford it, and you want it, you should buy it. Some people spend all of their money on cars, Real Estate, travel, random collectibles.

Men who wear nice watches/collect watches notice other men's watches as well...it's just something we look at. I notice almost everyone's watch when I am speaking with them, jsut out of interest. I am the same way with clothes and shoes.

My watch has a built-in LED flashlight, so that makes it indispensable. My Treo can't light up a room or the back of electronics. 🙂
