how often do you wear a watch?

All the time, except when I'm showering (Citizen Promaster dive watch).

While my mobile is usually on me when I'm on my way to work/out to lunch/shopping/out on the town, I can't imagine being so dependent on it that I would carry it around the house, garden, at the beach etc. I don't notice the watch, unless i need to use it, i can't practically damage it, i can't lose it, and when i need to check the time i don't need to haul out my mobile or ask someone 😉

EDIT: As the Don says, i feel naked without it 😉

seems to be "useless" since I have my phone on me

Man, this argument is the most ridiculous! You use your phone because its easier to fumble around in your pocket than it is to look at your hand? Actually, i picture you with a holder attached to your belt. Even that is harder than looking at your hand. Yes, i wear a watch every day. I rather enjoy watches actually.

I used to always wear one when I left the house and took it off when I got home.
Now, if it's not right there as I am leaving, I rely on my cell phones.

never, i haven't worn one regularly in about 8-9 years , ever since i have had to carry either a pager or cell phone. they have a clock
and i sit in front of a computer all day , it has a clock
my car has a clock
the TV has a clock

i don't really need to carry two clocks

I stopped wearing one because of the cellphone too, but I have to admit there are times when digging the phone out of my pocket when I'm driving is inconvenient. This usually happens because I've recently disconnected the battery on the car and the clock on the radio is fubar.

On the way to my house are two school zones where the speed drops from 45mph to 30mph from 9:05am to 9:40am and from 4:05pm to 4:40pm. You wanna be very sure of the time or you're going to get busted. Even if the clock on the car is set I don't trust it enough and reach for my cell.

I only wear one when I'm working out, to time breaks in between sets. The only reason I do that is because I can't see the clock on the wall because my glasses are off. I'll probably lose the watch if I can find an mp3 player with a timer on it.

I also wear one when I'm skydiving, suba diving, mountain climbing or dating jessica alba
