$6,000 for my chrysler sebring 2001

&

$6,500 for my 2006 Ninja 650R (Not an automobile, but it is by far my main mode of transportation)

Back in 1999, I bought a GMC Suburban (sticker was $42K...financed $30K). I planned on keeping in for a few more years; however, 2 weeks ago, some slimeball driving drunk totalled it after ramming into me twice at 90 mph.

Hence, since money is tighter now (and I figured, who knows when another drunk will come around), I bought used. Got a fully loaded 2003 Chevy Tahoe. Sticker was $24K, but talked them into $22K. It only had 46K miles on it and the leather seats have no wear marks. It has all the bells and whistles that my Suburban had plus a bunch of extras (including a DVD player with wireless earphones).

It sucks what happened...but life goes on.

1995 Ford Bronco 4x4 Eddie Bauer all amenities brand new and customised. $30,000 financed for 5 years.

2004 Ford Expedition 4x2 Eddie Bauer used. $22,000 paid full in cash.

2005 Ford Expedition 4X4 King Ranch...$48K
2003 VW Jetta...$10K
1987 BMW 735i...$5K (plus thousands more in repairs/maintenance)

I paid $14,500 for my Saturn (new) in 2000. I have hard time justifying paying anything over 15K. Autos are a waste of money. Put it into your home or retirement.</blockquote>

What if your home is paid for and you're maxing out three retirement accounts (401k plus two Roth's) plus $400 per month into a brokerage account? Can I buy one over $15,000 now? 😉

Buy a bigger house 😀

Got a used 06 Mazda 3 s Sport hatchback with 18,000 miles on it for 13,795. Got it on Friday and loving it 🙂.

For the love of God, NOoooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!

My wife has been trying to do that very thing for about a year now. If it weren't for my daughters (she is 7) school being about 500 feet from my current home, she would move in a heartbeat. I have at least 4 more years here and hopefully, longer.

Remodel this one to make her want to stay here! 😉

I paid 11k, I like the car, and needed a new one, but I sort of wish I'd bought the comparable 7500 dollar one instead that was basically the same but 1 year old and without power windows and cruise.

Nothing. Dad went nuts one day and gave me his(which was paid off), and bought a new Acura TL.

01 Honda Accord V6 fully loaded. Leather sucks during the summer.

However, I plan to run it to about 150k before I trade it in. 95k at the moment. I should have my debts paid off by then. I'm looking to go hybrid.

1990 Oldsmobile 88

$1250

Great car for reliability and gas mileage. Strong engine too. However, not enough power or stiff enough suspension to make it much fun to drive.

250?.

its a 1992 SEAT Marbella, with 990cc displacement and 40 horsepower. Pushrods(lol, like a corvette) and other ancient things make it reliable, tiny displacement makes it cheap on gas, and a weight of 750KG means it's A) Driveable, B) I'll be put out of my misery if I crash.

Its all good though, I'll be driving it to Mongolia next year 😎

paid 4800$ cash for my 01 vw jetta wolfsburg edition 5 speed 1.8T

listed around 8600 or so....took me a while to get a helluva a deal 😀

I paid $7,300 for my 2003 Mitsubishi Galant ES (48K miles). Spent $700++ for new tires, new brake pads, oil changes and others. Did I get a good deal?
