$18750. dealer was asking $21000. I guess I made out all right, considering it was certified. I was able to get some interior trim issues taken care of under that warranty.

I paid $14,500 for my Saturn (new) in 2000. I have hard time justifying paying anything over 15K. Autos are a waste of money. Put it into your home or retirement.

My 2005 Dodge Ram's sticker was $32,000. I got it for $19,000 brand new.
My wife's 2007 Prius stickered at $25,900. We paid $22,400 for it. Approximately $900 under invoice.

$7500 in incentives plus employee discountRight now the same truck goes for $22,000 since they are only offering $2500 in rebates. I just built it using the Employee Purchase Build Tool

You work directly for Chrysler? If so, I can see it. My discounts were for an automotive supplier, not directly as an employee of the auto maker.

What if your home is paid for and you're maxing out three retirement accounts (401k plus two Roth's) plus $400 per month into a brokerage account? Can I buy one over $15,000 now?![]()
