How much can you bench?

In high school 275, at 175 lbs.

Recently?
Enh i did either 215 or 225 at about 180-185

Ah the benefits of age. I am not in bad shape though.

I don't do max lifts anymore. At 37 I'm just too prone to injury to be trying something that has no fitness value whatsoever, but is a huge risk.

As of late i'm doing 265-275 lbs for 6-8 reps for my two heavy sets of flat bench.

Hey, I'd be happy doing 275 when I'm 37 (I'm 24 now) 🙂

What is more popular these days? The sit-down machines like they have in gyms or workout equipment, or the standard "free weights"? Bowflex?

I go to the gym, and I prefer free weights, but that's just me.
Dont really know whats more popular

I swear just this morning I had a wacked dream where I was a job recruitee for some big company and they had us do bench presses and I was first... they set it at 210lbs and I didn't think I could do it, but did... the company had nothing to do with physical attributes either.

- what a fvcked up dream
- there's no way I can do 210lbs... at least not yet.

Quite impressive for your age

The most I've ever done was eight hours straight. And let me tell you, it was one hell of a nap!

It's a feat I'll probably never duplicate. Those benches aren't comfortable.

😛
