The body continues growing, either up, or out, until you are 22-25.
My shoulders became much wider in my early 20s. Not muscular, but the bone structure changed. This is normal. It was such a change that the Army shirts and jackets I was issued just a couple years before fit me like I got them as a little boy.
I haven't really gotten much wider since then...I still have a pretty small bone structure even for my height.
That's why pundits like Red Dawn claim I must be lying with all the things I say, despite my weight and my build I still don't look that big, because the muscle is packed onto a small frame. If I'm clothed I'm just not gonna look as strong as I am. Some of my friends don't believe me till they see me do it in the gym, either.
