That's about how I was. When I started I could only bench about 95lbs or so. I got up to about 145 before I finally got lazy and quit.Originally posted by: jndietz

I'm about 5'8", 135 lbs. I'm a skinny dude. I think that's like, four pounds underweight.

I'll say, try benching a curling bar. It's 20lbs.
Then try the olympic benching bar = 45lbs. I'll stop you there.
