In other countries, when the "winners" of a Parliamentary election fail to form a government, the country would hold new elections to try and bypass the gridlock and inability to function. They have the Democratic flexibility to give the people a say in restoring order. Sooner rather than later.

Unless we gain a President with the balls to act and carry out his duties without them.

color me surprised, the Repubs nominate another totally shitty person to be Speaker. They really do not have any redeeming qualities as a party. At all.

The only thing that can save america is if five or six sane republicans, if there are that many, to side with the Dems and put in an actual moderate as speaker. That's it. They have to put country before party because there is no other way. They will get primaried and probably lose. But that's why it's country before party.
