It is Pelosi's fault that he is being impeached.

President Trump, speaking at a meeting earlier today, said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi “wasn’t tough enough" to stop the impeachment inquiry.
Trump referenced some hesitation regarding impeachment from House Democrats.
“A lot of her members now are having second thoughts,” he said during his meeting with El Salvadorian President Nayib Bukele.
He later called the impeachment inquiry a “hoax” and “the continuation of the witch hunt.”

Nadler brings up a good point. As Barr is mentioned in this call he must at the very least recuse himself (whether he will is another matter). Barr has also gone to ground and no one can find him.

Not even a mic drop? Hell no, Barr out? No?

So being politically adept is considered bad. Pelosi knows how to count votes. She was waiting for the inevitable political tsunami. I think she's the smartest politician in modern political history. Sucks to be Trump.
Edit: lastest count 217. 216 Dems, 1 independent.

The transcript reads like a mob shakedown. It's extremely damning. To use 250 million dollars of tax payer assets to get a foreign country to provide you with a damaging investigation to your political rivals... I mean this is stuff you only see in fiction.
Except the Prime Minister of the Ukraine disagrees with that assessment. Who should I believe ? Assholes like yourself or the guy that was actually there for the conversation?

Acting DNI threatened to resign if White House prevented his open testimony before Congress

The acting Director of National Intelligence threatened to resign over concerns that the White House might attempt to force him to stonewall Congress when he testifies Thursday about an explosive whistleblower complaint about the president, according to current and former U.S. officials familiar with the matter.
Except it was a fucking lie.
Damn you assholes are gullible.

There's no comment that can be made by pro-Trumpers that doesn't allow for an opportunity to shoot themselves in their own feet.

I have been thinking about taking these kinds of posts to a hyperbolic extreme in reply for a while. I think it could be very effective. It works for conspiracy theories. Just keep filling in the holes with more conspiracy logic until it becomes obvious that the whole thing is a house of cards.

Adam Schiff here ... pretty powerful stuff.

It sounds like they are ready to send forth the sgt. at arms to get things done.

Does Trump sound different here?
Almost a little ... just a little ... sad maybe?

Never fear, Donnie Boyo, your best friends from Russia will help you keep your job in 2020 and Moscow Mitch will make sure your friends have a free hand in doing just that.

I think we all need to step back and realize that believing the Republican narrative about this whole thing requires me to believe that Donald Trump is so overwhelmingly concerned about corruption in Eastern Europe for reasons that don't affect him that it was the sole topic of conversation in his discussion with the Ukrainian president, and yet not a single mention of Ukrainian corruption that did not involve Biden was discussed at all.

Am I really supposed to believe that the issue that Trump cares deeply about is Ukrainian corruption?

No Quid Pro Quo!

Deep state!

Hillary's emails!

Witch Hunt!

Nevermind the fact that Giuliani was hired to consult on Kiev mayor’s campaign and has a damning conflict of interest with respect to his work undermining Ukraine’s anti-corruption body.

Sometimes, it hard to see the forest for the trees.
Lets stand back here and ask WHY IS IT that Donald Trump ALWAYS seeks out foreign governments to help his agenda?
Trump would rather befriend leaders like Putin, Kim Jong Un, and now it comes out Volodymyr Zelensky.
WTF Donald? WTF?

Is it that Donald Trump so hates America because Trump feels American law and American justice forced Donald Trump to file for bankruptcy so many times to save his ass? Where Trump lost both money and creditably?
Later... evidence shows that Trump then sought out foreign governments for money and financial salvation to save his ass.
Is this what its all about? That Donald Trump would rather befriend communist than support American institutions and American law because American law was "mean" to him in business?
Appears so......
And certainly goes along with the thinned skinned and revengeful nature of Donald Trump.

And by the way, again over at Fox News.....
Now claiming that Donald Trump should have a say in whether the house impeaches, or not.
In other words, Trump broke the law, the house decides to follow the impeachment process, and the law breaker should have a say in the matter? If it should proceed or not?
Seriously?
Thats like saying a crook that robbed the bank should have a say-so in whether the crook is prosecuted by law enforcement, or nay.
Bat shet crazy....
