I think it is a better deal to get TWO of the Jamp3s and submit rebates from different addresses. I got two on order for $70 - $60 rebates = $10 net.

Or I can take one back and get the $40 rebate...the other one's free. I'll check it out to see how I like them then decide.

Damn, tempting... but I figure if I have to spend another $68 for a 64mb MMC disk, I might as well get one of those CD/MP3 hybrid players.

I think participating dealers would list this rebate info besides the product...OD site does not..now thats something to think about !!!

Well I did it. I didn't find the OD coupon where I usually look (techbarg... main page) but thanks to LintBalll, I found it quick enough. Now I just need to figure out what to do with 12 sharpies and a little MP3 player. 😱 Hope the rebates come through.

I don't really want or need an MP3 player, especially with only 16MB memory -- but hey, if they pay me $3 to take it, why not? 🙂 The Sharpies, however, I do need 😛

HOW TO USE OFFICEDEPOT COUPONS (taken from Rally1, above)

1) Go to the techb@rgains.com coupon page, click on the officedepot link (beside the code)

2) Enter the code on the page that takes you too

3) Click &quot;my cart&quot;

The discount should now be there. There is no place to &quot;enter&quot; coupons on the checkout page -- you have to go through this link.

I only repeat this since I really thought these instructions were Rally1's signature (since it was preceeded by --------'s), which I just ignore while scanning posts.

after reading the thread a bit more carefully, i thought that it might be better to buy 2 using the 20 off coupon instead of the 1st option. but i jumped the gun in fear of OD selling out of these things.. so i tried to cancel my order, except it says that my order cannot be changed?!! The order status is &quot;3 day delivery pending&quot;.. does anyone know whether i can cancel the order if and when the status changes?

Just chked my order. IT said it CAN BE changed, the status &quot;Waiting to be filled&quot;. I guess if it said it CAN'T, then it's being filled already. Also they might ship it out of a warehouse instead of a local store, (do u have a store near u?) so I guess it'll take 3 days.

I have a store 10min from me, so it's 1day delivery, but I'm picking it up today just to be sure. 🙂
 
Arrrghhh. I can only get it with 3 Day Delivery, and that tacks on an extra $10. Not worth it for $7 and 2 rebates.
