Home ownership is for the birds. Hate yard work. Hate unexpected repairs. Hate upkeep and maint. Stuck with "those" neighbors. Higher utility bills. Trees! Use to love trees, now I HATE trees! I figure I've spent $10,000 over 10 years on planting trees, maintaining trees, then having trees and limbs removed. Plus don't forget leaves. Hate trees! Hate raking! Hate shoveling. Hate mowing. Yep... home ownership is for the BIRDS! Not to mention the impossibility of selling for any reasonable profit (as we once thought we could do some day).
Home ownership means yard work. So that means when you buy a home, you also become a slave owner, and YOU are the slave owned.
Anyone that claims to like yard work is either new to it, has a teeny tiny yard, in their 20's to 30's, or are totally bored on the weekends with no life or friends to speak of.
And even if you have no friends, no life of your own, after time you still will grow to HATE yard work. You should be spending your money on fancy cars and tropical vacations, not tree maint and yard work. Its so sad....
